Public Transit

‘First-mile, last-mile’ shuttle services coming to three Phoenix areas in October

The city of Phoenix plans to trial on-demand shuttle rides as a “first-mile, last-mile” solution for public transit, starting in October.

The three-year pilot program in select areas of north, south and west Phoenix will coincide with increased bus rapid transit services connecting to the pilot program areas.

The program was presented for information only to The Phoenix Transportation, Infrastructure and Planning Subcommittee on Wednesday, but it was not discussed.
