Employees at Rosendin, an employee-owned electrical contracting company with a regional office in Tempe, raised $11,000 to support literacy education in Arizona.
The money was raised by partnering with Junior Achievement of Arizona for a bowl-a-thon.
“It’s important to support youth education in local communities so that the next generation can be prepared to enter the workforce,” Patti Stapleton of Rosendin said.
“Rosendin is committed to supporting JA through fundraisers and volunteer efforts, so children can learn about non-traditional career paths, such as construction so that when they enter the workforce they are aware of all their career options.”
