(Peoria Fire-Medical Department)

INDEPENDENT NEWSMEDIA
Two house fires linked to fireworks have left several people without homes in Peoria, authorities said.
Fourth of July house fires damaged homes near 67th Avenue and Jomax Road and 75th Avenue and Deer Valley Road. No injuries have been reported.
The causes of both fires are under investigation, but preliminary information suggests the fires were started when used fireworks were placed in the trash and later caught fire, according to the Peoria Fire-Medical Department.
