Scottsdale firehouse renovation hits rough patches

Owner says problems worked out

What some originally thought was a perfect ending for the old fire station at 7339 E. McDonald Road has hit some rough patches with the city and the neighboring homeowners association.

Diversified Partners bought the station for just over $2 million from the city in October 2022 and set about the process of renovating the 6,100-square-foot building into office space for its new headquarters.

They went through the process and got the land rezoned and they leased a portion of land from the Las Villas homeowners association, but that’s when things turned south.
