Fire department budget to be discussed

The new budget for the Sun City Fire and Medical District will be discussed by the board in its meeting tomorrow.

The fire board will meet in a workshop 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 11 at the administrative office, The 2017-18 proposed budget will be presented by Mike Thompson, Sun City fire chief, and Gabe Baldra, district finance officer.

Also on the meeting agenda will be a presentation by Mr. Baldra of his firm’s engagement letter to continue as finance director for the 2017-18 fiscal year and reports from the district’s various committees.
The meeting is open to the public.
