Finalists named to fill Peoria Unified board seat

Peoria Unified School District governing board has announced the finalists for the seat of former school board member Rebecca Hill, who resigned Aug. 24.

At the completion of a closed-door executive session Sept. 7, the board released three names: Matthew Bullock, David Jonagan and Rebecca Osuna.

Maricopa County Education Service Agency Superintendent Steve Watson will have the final approval. He may or may not choose from the three final candidates.
