Fight stemming from accusations of former SUSD teacher boils over into court

A situation in which a former Scottsdale Unified School District teacher resigned after being accused by former substitute teacher of placing mirrors in his class room to allegedly look at students inappropriately has found its way to the Maricopa County Superior Court.

Former teacher David Faulkner filed a lawsuit in February 2024 against former substitute teacher Veronica Hale for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

That case is set for oral arguments to begin.
