The fight to put the proposed Axon global headquarters campus on 74 acres in north Scottsdale to the voters for approval is heating up - with one man who was collecting signatures to get the issue on the ballot being arrested Dec. 5.
Scottsdale Police officers responded to a Bashas’ grocery store after an employee reported a man gathering signatures to put the issue on the ballot was behaving aggressively. Officers then arrested him for driving on a suspended license after he tried to drive away, police said.
The man was identified as 33-year-old Brandon Brown of Kentucky.
