Few Southwest Valley homes break $1M mark this fall


Sales of Southwest Valley homes breaking the million-dollar mark slowed this fall. See where the top-selling homes were sold and view price trends over time.

Litchfield Park

Some of the most expensive homes in the Southwest Valley are found in Litchfield Park. Since May, 20 homes in the 85340 area code have sold for $1 million or more, though just one home sold for that price in October. The median listing price in The Park is nearly $535K, according to Realtor.com.

Retro Rewind This enormous home located in the heart of Litchfield Park proper was built in 1979 and still features some of that 1970s charm including exposed beams, wood paneling and retro tile. The four-bed, three-bath home is also adjacent to the Wigwam Resort’s Gold golf course. It was the only Litchfield Park home to break $1M in October.

In the last six months, 11 homes sold in Goodyear ZIP codes broke the $1 million mark, but none in the month of October, according to data from Realtor.com. The closest sale missed the $1 million mark by $10K.

Some of the most expensive homes in Goodyear have been sold in central and north Goodyear, especially in proximity to Estrella Mountain Ranch. The median listing price in Goodyear is $511K.

Goodyear Getaway This brand-new home located in the PebbleCreek neighborhood features upgraded cabinets, quartz countertops in both the kitchen and master bath, a three-car garage and a detached guest house. Since May, 18 homes in Buckeye area codes sold for $1 million or more, though none in the month of October. The majority of million-dollar homes sold in the month of June. The median listing home price in Buckeye is nearly $430K, according to Realtor.com, and is considered a buyer’s market.

In Nov. 2019, the medium home sold price was $245K.
