Fern Silva, 101Fern B. Silva, 101, Surprise, passed away July 24. She was born October 13, 1905 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated from Pasadena High School and was a 75-year member of the Eastern Star. Fern moved to Surprise in 1997 from San Diego, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grey Silva, three sisters and one brother. She is survived by her son, George L. (Mary Ann) Bradbury III; grandchildren, Katherine E. (Mark Quintana) Bradbury; and George OL. (Paula) Bradbury IV; great-grandchildren, George L. Bradbury V; Melissa (Kip) Coates; and Paul E. Bradbury.Services have been held. Interment is at Greenwood Memorial Park, San Diego. Contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
