Arizona women expected to have more sway in financial market

Local experts say women are no longer taking a back seat in the financial world as they now own more than half of the investable assets in the country.

Kris Yamano, regional leader of wealth planning at BMO Wealth Management in Scottsdale, said women are at the leading edge of being recipients of a $30 trillion wealth transfer by 2030 from events such as their husbands passing away to having large amounts of success in their careers.

She works with women business owners and entrepreneurs who want to protect their wealth.
