FedEx truck - without driver - crashes into Tempe house

Posted

A FedEx truck crashed into a Tempe home Monday afternoon after the driver was knocked out of the vehicle in an earlier collision, police said.

The crash occurred in the 300 block of East Taylor Street where police said there appeared to be a minor collision between the truck and another vehicle.

“Once the collision occurred, the delivery driver was knocked out of the vehicle, and the FedEx truck continued a short distance (unoccupied) and ended up colliding into additional vehicles and finally a residence,” police said in a release.

Police said there were no major injuries, and the cause of the collision is under investigation.
