Father, son dead after shootings involving Surprise officer

An officer-involved shooting occurred Saturday night after police responded to a domestic violence call at a Surprise home, authorities said.

The caller reported that a man and his adult son were in an argument and multiple gunshots had been fired in the house.

Officers responded about 6:30 p.m. June 13 to the home near North Reems Road and West Acoma Drive, police said.
