Fate of Peoria Unified schools to be closed comes into focus

Peoria Unified will call for an election to seek voter authorization for the potential sale, lease, or exchange of Kachina Elementary.

The Peoria Unified school board in March approved the closures of Kachina and Pioneer elementary schools, but their eventual fate had not been completely clear.

Until just recently.
