No charges currently filed

A fatal hit-and-run in Sun City West over the summer remains under investigation.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office officials said the case is pending a medical examiner’s autopsy report of the victim and has no other updates at this time.

On July 28, MCSO deputies responded to a fatal hit-and-run crash on North Spanish Garden Drive and North R.H. Johnson Boulevard in Sun City West, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office,
