New this year, Tempe Marketplace will also host its first-ever Eco Pop 2026 on Wednesday, April 22 from 4 to 8 p.m., adding an eco-friendly pop-up experience that invites guests to explore sustainability-minded vendors and products in a lively, open-air setting. At Scottsdale Quarter, Earth Day will be marked by an installation designed to encourage more thoughtful consumption and everyday environmental responsibility. The centerpiece is an oversized shopping bag planter made from upcycled materials and filled with plants from the property’s xeriscape landscaping. After the display concludes, the plants will be returned to the landscaping, ensuring each element continues to serve a purpose.
On Earth Day, April 22, guests visiting Scottsdale Quarter can also take home complimentary wildflower seeds to plant, extending the celebration beyond their visit and encouraging small actions that support local ecosystems. Throughout the month, Scottsdale Quarter will also spotlight sustainability initiatives from its retailers, from denim recycling programs to the use of upcycled materials and eco-conscious fashion practices, making it easier for guests to shop with purpose.
