Family of slain teen lean on Chandler Council

More programs and services for youth among requests

As discussions continue at East Valley local government meetings about teen violence, on Feb. 8, it was the Chandler City Council’s turn — again.

A few weeks after the stepmother of slain East Valley teen Preston Lord and some supporters asked council to do more to stem teen violence, she returned.

This time, Lord’s father also spoke.
