Wrongful Death Suit

Family of deceased judge sues Grubhub in wrongful death suit

The family of a Maricopa County judge is suing Grubhub after they say a company delivery driver hit the woman in a crosswalk in February 2022.

The driver, Daniel Eagleburger, was allegedly on his phone when he ran a red light and struck Maricopa County Judge Rosa Mroz while she was crossing a crosswalk in Phoenix,  said David Shapiro of the Shapiro Law Team in Scottsdale.

Mroz’s family is suing both Grubhub and Eagleburger in the case, according to the filing.
