With home basketball games once again on the horizon, the OUAZ athletics department has made a change to its spectator policy in regards to home athletics events.

The adjustment will now allow only family and friends of the OUAZ student-athletes and staff competing in the event to attend.

At this time, no visiting team fans will be allowed at an OUAZ home athletic event.

Any spectators wishing to attend a Spirit home event will be required to reserve a digital ticket from the online ticket site at OUAZSpirit.com/tickets before arriving. A passcode provided by the OUAZ student-athlete will be required to reserve a ticket.

All spectators will be required to pass a screening (including temperature scan) upon entry to the facility and will be required to sit in the designated seating area and be asked to follow social distancing guidelines.

Facemasks that cover both the nose and mouth will also be required while inside the facility. Outside food and drink will not be permitted.

These protocols have been implemented to minimize the risk and potential exposure of COVID-19 for the OUAZ campus community including student-athletes, faculty, staff, visiting teams, event staff, and spectators. These restrictions apply to all home intercollegiate athletics contests on the OUAZ campus.

This policy covers all home athletics events until further notice and will routinely be reviewed and adjusted for the safety of our student-athletes.
