East Valley school board member draws heat for controversial Facebook posts

Posts called “vile” by other board members, public

QCUSD Governing Board member James Knox is at odds with other members of the board and the public over some of his Facebook posts.

Emotions among the Queen Creek Unified School District’s governing board remain high after a district employee called what she deemed “vile, sexist, misogynistic and borderline racist” Facebook posts made by board member James Knox.

The posts drew a sharp rebuke from other board members as well as the public while Knox defended the posts and took his Facebook feed private.
