Their young son lost his life in a tragic accident in Star Valley. As a result, they purchased 224 helmets and donated most of them to the Hellsgate Fire Department where his accident happened.
There were a few remaining helmets left which they graciously donated to the Knights of Columbus Council No. 7243 for the benefit of The Boys and Girls Club of Apache Junction.
The Knights of Columbus Council No. 7243 and The Boys and Girls Club of Apache Junction greatly appreciate this very thoughtful and heartfelt donation.
Editor’s note: Steve Ezyk is a 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus Council No. 7243 at St. George Catholic Church in Apache Junction.
