Exploring employee mental health in the workplace

Panel discuss legalities, accommodations of mental conditions at work

Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce recently organized The Business Case for Mental Health, a workshop and panel to advise employers about their rights and responsibilities regarding the law, accommodations and creating a culture of well-being in the workplace.

The informational event was held at Westin Kierland Resort and Spa Sept. 27.

“The entirety of Westin Kierland has been incredibly beneficial to making this day come to fruition. You continually partnered with us last year, you’ve worked so closely with us on the efforts to address human trafficking, and now we’re tackling the important subject of behavioral health,” said Mark Stanton, president and CEO of Scottsdale Chamber Board of Directors.
