It is unclear yet if Arizona will get blowback from Canadians opting not to travel to the state amid continued conflict between President Donald Trump and Canadian leaders over everything from tariffs to travel.
Canadian visitors account for hundreds of millions of dollars in spending during the winter months as the country is the second largest international tourist market behind Mexico, said Josh Coddington, a spokesman from the Arizona Office of Tourism.
One tourism office official traveled to Toronto in February and received a positive response. Coddington said the visit was scheduled and not reactionary.
