Arizona gas prices are expected to rise in the coming months because of multiple factors including a cold winter and the nation’s ongoing supply pinch, according to an Arizona AAA spokesman.
Aldo Vazquez, an Arizona AAA spokesman, said cold weather back East has caused demand to rise for heating oils and the cost for crude oil has hit about $90 per barrel — up $50 per barrel from early August, he said.
Vazquez said Russia’s tensions with Ukraine will no doubt play a role with prices at the pump at home in Arizona.
