Expert: Gas prices could fall with short lull

Gas prices will continue to drop in early fall despite major travel days and holidays ahead, according to Arizona State University business professor.

Dale Rogers, a professor at the W.P. Carey School of Business, said there could be “a lull” in demand after the Labor Day holiday.

But gas prices could remain “sticky,” meaning market prices won’t drop drastically.
