With everyone still spending their time and energy on the national election, it might be the perfect time to buy a home in Scottsdale, according to Phoenix Realtors’ Board President Sheryl Bowden.
There’s a plethora of homes on the market right now, with very few buyers. That means sellers are likely willing to haggle.
“If a buyer puts (the election) on the back burner and just says, ‘Hey, you all discuss what you want to discuss, I’m going to go out and buy a house while everybody’s distracted because now I don’t have any competition and I can probably negotiate a little bit better of a deal,’ it might be the perfect week to go out and buy a house,” Bowden said.
