Expedia Group CEO responds to band of Arizona mayors

After more than 30 mayors issued a joint letter to short-term vacation rental platforms — Expedia and Airbnb — one CEO has responded.

In a Jan. 21 letter, Expedia CEO Peter Kern says his company is committed to a balanced approach. Expedia is the parent company of Vrbo.

“Expedia Group has always been — and continues to be — committed to partnering with communities to address bad actors,” Mr. Kern said in his letter.
