A major drainage project with road improvements in Peoria on 67th Avenue between Pinnacle Peak and Happy Valley roads launched earlier this year and will continue through 2027.

That means drivers will have to put up with restrictions throughout that time.

The $35 million 67th Avenue Corridor Improvement Project is a multifaceted, regional infrastructure project to improve area drainage and widen the road to an extra lane and add a bike lane in both directions.
