Exodus of top Peoria leadership forms on heels of election

Includes city, deputy city managers

An exodus of Peoria’s top leadership has formed as members of a newly elected council are preparing to be sworn in.

City Manager Jeff Tyne on Nov. 22 announced he will step down, with his final day scheduled for March 3, 2023.

Additionally, two of the city’s three deputy city managers Erik Strunk and Andy Granger, as well as Real Estate Development Officer Scott Whyte announced they will also step down.
