Evidence points to homicide/suicide in deadly Scottsdale shooting

A man and woman died after a Friday night shooting that Scottsdale police said appears to be a homicide and suicide.

The man and woman, who have not been identified, were hospitalized with life-threatening gunshot injuries stemming from the double shooting just after 6 p.m. Oct. 2 at a residence near McDowell Road and 87th Way, police said Saturday.

They died at the hospital.
