Eugene J. Chervinko

SUN CITY - Eugene J. (Geno) Chervinko passed away on Jan. 21st, 2017, at his home. He was a CPA and worked for Allstate for many years in Tulsa, Okla. He played softball as a player, a coach and a manager here in Sun City for over 25 years. He is survived by his wife, Marcella; four step-children, William Callaway, Patricia Jarnagin, Robert Callaway and Cena Kite. He had many grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death was his Father and Mother, Steve and Mary Chervinko; and two grandchildren, James Kite and Billy Callaway. There will be no formal services but an internment of the ashes at the gravesite will be held at Sunland Memoria Park, 15826 Del Webb Blvd, on Thursday, Feb. 2nd, at 1:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend. Marcella Chervinko would like to thank all the ballplayers for their kind sympathy and condolences. He truly loved the game.
