The ethics violation complaint filed against Scottsdale City Councilman Barry Graham will go to a full hearing.
A panel of retired judges voted 2-1 May 8 to deny Graham’s motion for dismissal, sending the complaint to a formal hearing set for 8 a.m. June 3.
The vote comes after an attorney working for the panel wrote a report saying city staff believe Graham did inappropriately give them orders to halt funding on the 68th Street sidewalk project but then concludes that no violation of the city charter occurred.
