Estrella Mountain partners with TSMC

A local education institution is helping funnel the workforce of the future to the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.

Estrella Mountain Community College has partnered with TSMC in a program where students can learn skills needed to earn an entry-level role with the chipmaker, which is building a fab near Interstate 17 and Loop 303.

Paula Livingston, dean at Estrella Mountain Community College, said the TSMC partnership isn’t the first of its kind.
