Paradise Valley’s master fee schedule was readopted Sept. 14 after an error was discovered by Town staff.
Prior to the July 1 effective date, an error was discovered in the building permit fee chart, according to Town Clerk Duncan Miller. The Town initiated the process and states statute to modify user fees so that the error could be quickly corrected. The amended fee study was available on the Town’s home page for 60 days.
In that time, the Town did not receive any comments in support of, or opposition to, the amendment, so a public hearing was held at the Town Council meeting to adopt the corrected master fee schedule. No one from the public spoke at the hearing.
