EPCOR Water rate case nears end as Paradise Valley predicts increased costs

Rate changes are coming to Paradise Valley’s EPCOR water users, town officials say, with increases potentially starting in the new year.

The Arizona Corporation Commission is expected to decide the EPCOR Water rate case at its open meeting Dec. 15-16, which the town’s legal officials believe will result in a change.

There are four water providers for Paradise Valley residents, depending on where they live. Most residents living south of Indian Bend Road are EPCOR users, town documents show, while north Paradise Valley residents use city of Phoenix or Berneil water.
