EPCOR achieved the Voluntary Protection Program Star certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, which Paradise Valley Town Council recognized at its meeting May 23.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s certification is the highest level of achievement private companies and federal agencies can receive for efforts in implementing health and safety management systems and maintaining injury and illness rates below the national average, according to a staff report.
Mayor Jerry Bien-Willner issued a proclamation congratulating EPCOR for its commitment to providing safe working conditions for employees.
