The future of EPCOR wastewater rates in the West Valley — and whether all customers will pay the same rates — should be decided later this month as the state’s utility commission is expected to make its final vote on the matter.
The Arizona Corporation Commission should decide on whether to consolidate 11 EPCOR water districts that stretch from Anthem to Tubac. The meetings are scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 15 and Thursday, Dec. 16.
“The recommendation from the administrative law judge is full consolidation of all EPCOR water systems, with the exception of portions in Bullhead City due to the city condemning parts of those systems,” said Nick Debus, spokesman for the Arizona Corporation Commission. “The matter is expected to be on the December open meeting agenda,
