EPCOR acquires Johnson Utilities

The move is being called a ‘game-changer’ for the region

EPCOR Water Arizona Inc., a subsidiary of EPCOR USA Inc., has acquired the assets and operations of troubled Johnson Utilities.

This move makes EPCOR USA the water and wastewater service provider for areas that include Queen Creek, San Tan Valley and Florence.

“We're confident in the capabilities of EPCOR and look forward to the continued improvement of their water and wastewater systems, which will be a benefit to the region,” said Queen Creek Utility Director Paul Gardner.
