SUN CITY - On April 17, the world lost a great, great man. Emil Louis Flaim, Jr., of Sun City, passed away suddenly, while telling one of his many stories, making people laugh like he always did. He died with a smile on his face. He was born in Chicago, Ill., on November 20, 1933, and spent his life entertaining people around the world with his incredible voice and awesome piano playing. Once people met him, they never forgot him. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley, his "Booba,"; his sons, Nicholas (Michelle) and Anthony (Terri); and his daughter, Suzanne (Michael Laz). Loving step-father of Tammy (Gil Gabaldon) and Angie (Bobby Warren). Proud Grandpa of John, Kristin, Taylor, Raelin, and especially his Pumpkin Pie, Ashley. Great Grandpa of Micah and Elliot. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends, and his faithful pal, Snookers. Preceded in death by many friends and family members, including his good buddy, Newman. The world is already missing this incredible man, it won't be the same without him. A celebration of his life will be on Sunday, May 1, 2016 open house from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Dominic's Bistro Italiano, SW corner of 99th Avenue and Bell. In lieu of flowers, share happiness!
