Exceptional Healthcare has received the approval of building permits for the construction of the Exceptional Community Hospital.
Construction is expected to begin in the coming months, with an anticipated opening date in 2024.
That’s according to a press release from Scottsdale-based real estate investment company Walton Global, which completed sale of 10 acres from Sunshine Industrial Park in the Phoenix-Tucson corridor.
This sale brings the property to over 135 acres sold out of the total 277 acres in the Sunshine Industrial Master Plan.
Located in Eloy, the land was sold to Exceptional Healthcare, an integrated healthcare provider offering 24/7 Emergency Room services. Exceptional Healthcare plans use this parcel to develop an Exceptional Community Hospital, ushering in the first hospital to the city of Eloy.
“It’s been a privilege to work with Exceptional Healthcare, and we look forward to seeing their development offer crucial healthcare support services to the city of Eloy and the surrounding region,” Rob Nixon, Real Estate for Walton Global senior vice president, shared in a press release. “This parcel is in an ideal location for healthcare services, as it is conveniently situated in the heart of the Phoenix-Tucson corridor with multiple access points from major roads and highways, and in one of the country’s fastest growing counties.”
Walton Global is looking for partners to acquire the remaining 142 acres of the Sunshine Industrial Master Plan, which is zoned for industrial and commercial use and is serviced with water, wastewater, power, telecommunications, and gas. Additionally, the site offers multiple vehicular access points and high visibility to Interstate 10.
