Ellen Francis Thorne, 88 MESA - Ellen Francis Thorne, beloved wife and mother, age 88, passed from us on Feb. 12, 2010. She cherished 48 years of marriage to Jim Thorne, her adoring husband. Survived by Jim, sons Jerry and Bob, along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of who will greatly miss her in their lives. There was a visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, followed by the service at 1 p.m. at Mountain View Funeral Home, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ (480-832-2850).
