Ellen Elizabeth Burgess

Ellen Elizabeth Burgess, 80Ellen Elizabeth "Betty" Burgess, 80, of Apache Junction, passed away June 28, 2007 in Mesa.She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin, neighbor and friend. She was a hero and inspiration to her family and all those who knew her. She always put everyone"s needs ahead of her own. She went through life with a smile and a sense of humor. She was an avid quilter and knitter and brought joy to so many people with her gifts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph. She is survived by her children Jo, Jerry and Jeff; grandchildren, Kim, Kristin, Jerry Jr., Marc; and great grandchildren, RJ, Tyler and Erik.Memorial services were held July 2 at Gold Canyon Elementary School.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gold Canyon Church of Christ"s building fund, P.O. Box 5248, Apache Junction, AZ 85278. Apache Junction Mortuary handled arrangements.
