The battle over local elections continued today as Maricopa County leaders again reaffirmed their refusal to comply with Arizona Senate Republicans, who want access to all the county’s ballots, tabulation machines and software used in the November presidential election.
The supervisors commented about the ongoing conflict at the conclusion of the panel’s regular formal public meeting this morning.
Their discussion followed a Senate vote Monday that narrowly failed to hold the five board members in contempt when one Republican voted against the measure.
