SUN CITY WEST - Edward Rome, of Sun City West, Ariz., passed away on Mar. 24, 2012. Husband to Lenore Rome. Father of Michael, Betsy, and Steven Rome and Julie Rome-Banks. Grandfather to Alex Boerstler, Jack and Jeremy Banks. A Navy SeaBee specializing in underwater demolition, he was in the preparation phase for the D-Day Invasion of Normandy. Proud union electrician and member of IBEW Local 640 in Phoenix. Dedicated husband and family man. Taken from us after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Services were held at the Arizona National Memorial Cemetery.
