Edward L. Penet

Edward L. Penet, born April 10, 1921 at Detroit, MI, died October 3, 2017 at Phoenix, AZ. Son of Emile L. Penet (Belgium) and Petronella Houben (Holland). Two sisters: Mary Emil Penet, IHM, and Pauline Penet Teske (both deceased). Married Jacqueline Ann Naour of Detroit in 1943 (deceased 1999).Retired as National Director of the GM Dealer Organization (1979) to Sun City West in 1980. Married Dorothy Nelson on August 12, 2000.He had two children: Edward G. Penet and Ann E. Penet Meisenzahl (deceased). He is survived by wife, Dorothy; son, Edward and his wife, Bonnie; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.He was a member of the Sun City Posse, St. Vincent de Paul Society, Our Lady of Lourdes Men's Club, the Ministry of Caring, Eucharistic Minister and the Pebble Brook Golf Club.A private memorial will be held in Sun City West. In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made in his memory to any local St. Vincent de Paul Society or Capucin Services Center.
