Edward J. Cirillo, former Arizona state senator, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025 on his 91st birthday.
Known for his strong love of country, family, faith and service, he was born on Febuary 2, 1934 in Troy, NY. Attended Siena College. Served in the US Army in Germany, 1956-59. Worked for IBM Corporation for 30 years including a 5 year stint in Paris, France. He was a lifelong lover of the NY Yankees and of puns.
He was devoted to public service both in government (in Tarrytown NY and Sun City West, AZ) and in fraternal organizations including the Knights of Columbus, Elks and Rotary Club.
He is survived by Regina his beloved wife of 66 years, their 3 sons and 4 grandchildren, brother Eugene and niece.
Service to be held Thursday February 20 from 12 to 2 PM in the Grand Canyon Room at Sun City West Foundation, 14465 West R. H. Johnson Blvd., Sun City West, AZ 85375.
