Economic talk on tap at ASU biz school

Local and national experts will offer insight of what’s to come for the region’s economy at today’s economic forecast luncheon at ASU’s W.P Carey School of Business.

The school will host the luncheon, which will feature a keynote address via Zoom from Lawrence H. Summers, a professor and president emeritus at Harvard University. Summers served as the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury from 1999 to 2001 and as the director of the National Economic Council from 2009 to 2010.

Gus Faucher, chief economist at the PNC Financial Services Group, also is expected to talk about the outlook for the U.S. economy while Lee R. McPheters will speak on how issues effect Arizona residents.
