Career and technical education offerings such as bioscience, nursing services, network security and digital photography will be offered as satellite EVIT programming in 2021-22 at Eastmark and Queen Creek high schools.
The East Valley Institute of Technology governing board recently approved having 13 classes at Eastmark High School, 9560 E. Ray Road in Mesa; and 14 at Queen Creek High School, 22149 E. Ocotillo Road in Queen Creek, both in the Queen Creek Unified School District.
“Approval of this programing is still predicated and based on the (intergovernmental agreement) and parameters that we currently have in place,” Dr. Chad Wilson, EVIT superintendent, said during the June 14 EVIT Governing Board meeting. “Queen Creek, Mesa and then Fountain Hills are the remaining districts who need program approvals.”
