The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for a closure on U.S. Highway 60 Superstition Freeway in Mesa for pavement improvement work beginning Friday, April 14.
Eastbound US60 between Mesa and Val Vista drives will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, April 14, through 5 a.m. Monday, April 17.
For detours, drivers can consider using Southern Avenue or Broadway Road to connect with their destinations to the north of US60, and Baseline or Guadalupe roads south of US60.
Also, eastbound US60 between Power Road and Loop 202 will have nightly lane restrictions from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Wednesday, April 12, through the morning of Friday, April 14.

The pavement improvement work along 14 miles of US60 will occur over several months and will require numerous closures. ADOT will continue to provide updates as the work progresses. ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work is underway.
