PHOENIX – One freeway-to-freeway ramp closure is the only thing on the schedule for the weekend, state transportation officials said Thursday.

The eastbound Loop 101 ramp to southbound State Route 51 will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for widening work.

The southbound Black Mountain Boulevard ramp to southbound SR 51 also will be closed, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

ADOT suggests alternate routes, including southbound Cave Creek Road or Tatum Boulevard to Union Hills Drive to reach southbound SR 51.

The westbound Loop 101 ramps to southbound SR 51 will remain open.
